Behind the scenes[]

"Wars are not won with superior weapons, but with superior strategy."
―Original moral[src]
  • The finished version of this episode on Disney+ features some minor differences with the original story reels. The scene in which Anakin remarks on the nose art of Padmé Amidala on the Havoc Marauder was replaced with a scene of Anakin secretly contacting Padmé via holocall, while Rex stood guard before Obi-Wan could intrude. The scene in which Rex fights with Crosshair was also changed slightly: instead of cynicism for believing Echo turned traitor, Crosshair angered Rex by displaying apathy for him being left for dead.
  • A couple of editing mistakes are visible in the episode. The shot in which the Bad Batch slides down the slope into the Poletec village briefly shows Rex wearing a night-vision visor. Later, when Tech pinpoints Echo's location in Purkoll, his voice was not modified to sound like he was wearing his helmet.
