"Chapter 17" is the seventh episode of the second season of Star Wars: Clone Wars. It is the seventeenth episode of the series overall. It was released on April 5, 2004 on Cartoon Network.
Premise[]
On Yavin 4, Anakin has tracked down his would-be assassin, Asajj Ventress. Now he must find her in the wild jungles of the green moon before the battle between these two highly skilled warriors can truly begin.
Synopsis[]
The Azure Angel drops out of hyperspace, and Anakin Skywalker sets to land on the jungle moon of Yavin 4. As he heads off to investigate, Anakin hears the sound of another ship. Back at the landing site, he sees the squad of clone troopers sent by Obi-Wan Kenobi getting off from their transport. As the clones fan out to search the jungle, they are taken out one by one by someone using the Force. Anakin realizes something is wrong, and returns to the landing site to see the transport and his starfighter explode, destroying R4-P22. The droid's charred dome flies out of the flaming wreckage to land at the Padawan's feet.
Asajj Ventress walks out of the flames and stands on the wreckage of Anakin's starfighter. She ignites two lightsabers, and goads him: "Come, Padawan. Your fall will be my ascension to the Sith."
