The Demolition droid was a type of battle droid that was used by Separatist forces and General Grievous to bomb a main Coruscant power generator.
Appearance and Equipment[]
Demolition droids were very large compared to most Separatist battle droids and had very strong, blaster resistant armor. They were armed with dual repeating blasters for defense, much like those of droidekas, and their outer plating was usually colored green or orange. They had three or four red photoreceptors on their heads.

Demolition droids were known to be able to disguise themselves as harmless maintenance droids and use themselves as time bombs. When in their maintenance droid form, it was easy for them to sneak past Republic forces.
