Ima-Gun Di

Ima-Gun Di was a male Kajain'sa'Nikto Jedi Master and Jedi General who served the Republic during the Clone Wars. He wielded a blue Lightsaber and fought in the Battle of Ryloth.

Ima-Gun Di was part of the Republic forces sent to Ryloth when it came under Separatist seige. He fought alongside Twi'lek freedom fighter Cham Syndulla and Clone Captain Keeli. During the battle, Di lost contact with Admiral Dao, who was attempting to break through the Separatist blockade to resupply them. With Dao and the Republic fleet gone, they were left with no reinforcements. Soon, the right flank of their defence lines was destroyed.

Realizing that they were running out of time and options, Di decided to use their one remaining gunship to blow up and cut off one of two lanes that led directly to the outlands, where the Twi'leks were planning to escape. The droids would then have to travel using the remaining route, where Di and the remaining clone troopers would hold off the enemy while the Twi'leks escaped with their families.

The plan worked and Di's forces engaged the droids in a firefight. It wasn't long before Di's clone forces was eliminated to the last man, including Keeli, who stood alongside the general before receiving two blaster shots to his chest. Di was soon surrounded by overwhelming hails of blaster fire and ultimately killed.

However, Di's efforts were not in vain as the Republic was able to drop off relief supplies for the Twi'leks.

As a Jedi Master and General, Di was brilliant strategic thinker and a skilled combatant. Like all Jedi, Di placed the safety of others before his own and managed to quickly devise a plan that allowed the Twi'leks to escape without harm. The Jedi Master showed his skills with a Lightsaber when he swiftly and acrobatically cut through the droid ranks. But even with his skills and mastery of the Force, Di was unable to beat back the outnumbering units of the droid army.
