Savage Opress wielding his Lightsaber
Savage Opress's lightsaber was a double-bladed lightsaber used by the Dark Acolyte and self-proclaimed Sith Lord Savage Opress.
It closely resembled his brother's lightsaber, though it also contained design features similar to Dooku's curved-hilted lightsaber, notably the emitter guards on both ends. Compared to typical lightsabers, Opress's weapon had an unusual sound frequency. The ignition hiss sounded similar to an animal-like growl, while the idle hum had a much deeper resonance pitch.
It was first used in sparring duels with Count Dooku, Opress's master on Serenno. It was later used during the showdown on Toydaria, during a three-way duel on a Separatist dreadnaught with Dooku and Opress's true master, Asajj Ventress, and Opress' subsequent escape from the dreadnaught, wielded against Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and numerous battle droids.
It was also used in his search for Darth Maul on Lotho Minor when he used it against a tribe of Junkers, and later to provide light in underground tunnels. After Maul was restored on Dathomir, Opress used it when he and Maul dueled Obi-Wan Kenobi and Asajj Ventress above Raydonia. After that, Opress used it in a duel with Adi Gallia, whom he killed, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
After allying themselves with Pre Vizsla and the Death Watch, Opress used it to decapitate the leaders of the Black Sun criminal syndicate and used it in battle on Nal Hutta and during the takeover of Mandalore. During the battle on Mandalore, Opress used it for the last time against Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious. He was killed in the duel and the lightsaber's fate after that is unknown.
