Umbaran Militia[]

We do not need to list the militia's weapons in the same manner as it was introduced because it takes away from the neatness and format of the page when listed like that. There is no reason why linking the paragraph text is bad, in fact that is what internal links are sort of meant for. If people wish to find information on any of those items then they can click on it in the paragraph. Also we don't need the exact name in the link to it, just in the title of the page so that's acceptable. Remember this page is to be about the Umbaran species so we do not need to go into depth on the militia. That should be on a page about the umbaran forces, we just want to say how they factor into the topic. We need to avoid creating lists unless they are very long and therefore necessary otherwise it should be in sentence form. Always aboid lists if you can is the best way to goDarkseid253 07:21, April 22, 2012 (UTC)

There is a problem with that. I checked: not all the vehicles are linked on this page, and the real name should be mentionned to make it more clear. The Umbarans have more than one type tank. Also, the list makes it maybe a bit less good looking, but it makes navigation a much easier thing, since it indicates the real names, and all the vehicles. Also, using such vague words can create confusions. Why write tank, when you can just write the real name? 24.89.197.31 14:23, April 22, 2012 (UTC)

And how does it make the page less organized? Having random, vaguely named links in the middle of a paragraph is more organized than a clear link? Also, if being on the page about the Umabaran in genral is the reason why there shouldn't be a list, I think a page should be created for the Umbaran militia, where it would be possible to have a clear list with clear links. Also, all other armed forces have their own page. So a page on the Umvbaran Militia should be created, since it would resolve the problem caused by making a list on the Umbaran page. 24.89.197.31 14:29, April 22, 2012 (UTC)
